We read novels by authors from the English-speaking world and thus try to comprehend texts. By talking about the plot of a novel we attempt to speak English freely without neglecting grammar aspects. Grammar topics are dealt with depending on the level of the knowledge of the participants. We cover the whole range of grammar topics.
We discuss topics of interest to the group, often drawing from articles from "Spotlight" magazine and other sources.

From Miami to Maryland, this semester our cruise ship takes us up the east coast of the United States. We’ll talk about highlights of our excursions, fascinating facts of the country or listen to a presentation about a current topic. As always, we’ll review a bit of grammar.
